Millennials, let’s be the generation that ends the “bitterly criticize the youth” cycle. When we’re old, let’s embrace and nurture them and commend them for facing challenges we might have created.

Also, let’s start doing this right now, with the people younger than us who exist right now. Teens hating on children is just as uncool as adults hating on teens.

Y'know, clowning on people who don’t know the difference between ACA and Obamacare is funny, but… that’s exactly why the GOP called it that. It was by design, and everyone fell for it and propagated it.

It isn’t the responsibility of the informed to mock the uninformed, but rather to help inform them. Not just now, but for the next four years. Empowering people with information isn’t as easy as being smug about their relative intelligence, but it gets more done.

Yeeessss, they do this on purpose. When I called Ted Cruz’s office last week to protest his vote to repeal the ACA/Obamacare, his aid asked me twice if I was calling about the ACA and I said yes. Then she started off on this little speech about how the vote was a resolution to repeal Obamacare and I heard the Kill Bill sirens in my head. They are really trying to confuse people.

In light of the women’s marches today, please remember that not all women have vaginas, and not all people with vaginas are women!!! There have been some transphobic signs at the marches today that play into the gender binary and echo the sentiment “my genitalia is better than yours,” so here’s to intersectional and inclusive women’s rights, bodily autonomy, reproductive rights, and human rights
